OVERVIEW

The fourth generation Mazda 3 BP combines premium styling, sharp handling, and everyday drivability in a compact performance platform that responds extremely well to ECU calibration. The 2.5L SKYACTIV-G Turbo delivers strong factory performance, and with proper tuning, the car gains noticeably better throttle response, stronger mid range torque, and a more responsive overall character.

Our Stage 1 calibration is designed to sharpen the way the vehicle accelerates and responds while preserving smooth daily drivability. Whether the vehicle is used as a sporty daily driver or as a more serious performance build, this platform offers excellent results with the right calibration and supporting hardware.

FLASHING SOFTWARE OPTION

This package includes a compatible OBD2 cable with supporting flashing software and a 1 year subscription, allowing you to read and program the vehicle ECU from home.

STAGE 1 CALIBRATION

Stage 1 consists of an individual recalibration of the engine management system, including optimization of key parameters such as ignition, fueling, throttle response, torque control, and related ECU strategies.

This tune is intended for stock vehicles or lightly modified vehicles and is developed to improve performance, drivability, and responsiveness while remaining within sensible operating limits for the platform.

STAGE 2 CALIBRATION

Stage 2 is intended for vehicles equipped with supporting intake and exhaust modifications that improve airflow. The calibration is adjusted accordingly to take advantage of the hardware changes and provide stronger overall performance.

Rear O2 delete for decat applications is included in Stage 2.

REMOTE FLASHING OPTION

Remote flashing is available using the supplied OBD2 cable and flashing software.

This option requires a Windows laptop with internet connection and includes a 1 year subscription. It allows the customer to read and program the vehicle ECU remotely, receive tune updates, add options later, and return the vehicle to stock when needed.

ECU SHIPPING OPTION

If you are unable to bring the vehicle to us, the ECU can be removed and shipped to AMT Tuning for programming.

Please make sure the ECU is packed securely and that the package includes a note with the following information:

• Full name
• Order number
• VIN number
• Vehicle year and model
• Contact email
• Contact phone number

This information is required so we can correctly identify the ECU and match it to your order before programming begins.

PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS

Please pack the ECU securely using anti static material and/or bubble wrap.
Ship in a strong padded box with tracking and insurance.

Improper packaging may result in damage during transit.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Windows laptop with internet connection is required for remote flashing
• 1 year subscription is included with the flashing software package
• Turbo factory output is 250 HP / 320 lb.ft on premium fuel or 227 HP / 310 lb.ft on regular fuel. Turbo models also use standard AWD and a 6 speed automatic from the factory.
• Final gains may vary depending on fuel quality, hardware, ECU software version, and market specification
