AMT TUNING LTD
Expert Tuning Services for Optimal Performance
Experience the thrill of enhanced performance with AMT Tuning
Enhanced Speed - Unleash Power - Ultimate Performance
Enhance the performance of the 612 HP Rolls-Royce Ghost 6.6L N74B66 twin-turbo V12 with AMT Tuning performance software.
The N74 uses a dual-engine-ECU configuration, requiring calibration of both engine control units. AMT prepares DME1 and DME2 individually and supplies a matched pair of modified files for the vehicle.
The Stage 1 calibration increases output from approximately 612 HP to 700 HP and torque from 840 Nm to 950 Nm on the 612 HP N74B66 application.
Designed for stock or mildly modified vehicles using premium pump fuel.
Fuel Requirement:
91 AKI minimum when specifically calibrated for 91 octane. Higher-octane fuel is recommended when available.
Performance:
Factory: 612 HP / 840 Nm
Stage 1: 700 HP / 950 Nm
Increase: +88 HP / +110 Nm
Available for suitable modified vehicles after review of the installed hardware and ECU software.
AMT Stage 2 Target:
Stage 2: 720 HP / 970 Nm
Increase over stock: +108 HP / +130 Nm
Stage 2 availability is subject to vehicle configuration and supporting modifications.
| Specification | Original | Stage 1 | Stage 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power (HP) | 612 | 700 | 720 |
| Torque (lb.ft) | 620 | 700 | 715 |
Stage 1
K&N panel filter
Stage 2
Downpipes with sports catalytic convertors
Cat back exhaust
Cold air intake
The Rolls-Royce Ghost N74 uses two engine control units.
AMT prepares two separate modified files:
DME1
DME2
Each modified file must be written back to the same ECU from which the original file was read.
Although the calibration data in the two ECUs may be substantially similar, AMT processes and supplies each ECU file separately.
Do not interchange DME1 and DME2 files.
Customers with professional ECU programming equipment may send AMT a complete read of both engine ECUs.
A complete read from both DMEs is required.
Professional flashing tools capable of obtaining the required ECU data may include KESS3, FLEX, AutoTuner, CMD or other supported professional equipment.
Once completed, AMT supplies:
DME1 Modified File
DME2 Modified File
The customer is responsible for correctly programming each file back to its corresponding ECU.
Customers may also remove and ship both engine ECUs to AMT Tuning.
Both DMEs must be shipped together.
Clearly label each ECU:
DME1
DME2
Do not ship only one ECU.
Both modules are required for the complete calibration service.
Depending on the exact software version and vehicle configuration, additional calibration changes may be available, including:
For DTC-related modifications, the customer must provide the exact diagnostic trouble codes.
AMT does not recommend guessing which diagnostic functions need to be disabled. Additional faults found after the vehicle is returned to operation may require a revised calibration.
Before AMT begins programming, please provide:
This service includes calibration of both engine ECUs as one complete dual-DME package.
Always retain untouched copies of both original ECU files.
Do not write the DME1 file into DME2 or the DME2 file into DME1.
Performance figures are representative and may vary depending on fuel quality, vehicle condition, ECU software version, installed hardware and operating conditions.
Software calibration cannot correct mechanical faults or hardware problems.
